Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper

Legion Coventry Rag Paper is one of the most versatile papers and can be used for all fine art techniques. Created in 1971 to meet the demands and specifications of artists and silkscreen printers and able to take printing overlays in excess of 50-75 colors with incredible dimensional stability yet not compromise registration. It is internally sized with a modest amount of surface sizing and while it s predominantly used for screen printing, it s also a great choice for fine art offset lithography. The textured vellum surface makes it an excellent drawing paper for all pencil, pastel and charcoal techniques. The paper is  also suitable for embossing, gold or silver foil stamping and was the favourite paper for Erte's silkscreen fashion art pieces in the 1970s & 1980s. It's machine made in the USA of 100% cotton and pH neutral.
